I am a graduate of South Newton High School. Starting in the fall of 1999 I will begin college at
Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion Indiana. There I will study psychology. In my time at South
Newton I played the alto saxophone in the band for 6 years and was the president of the band my senior year. I took the guitar class for a year and took
music theory and chorus for one semester. I also took classes in anatomy, psychology, sociology,
biology, and chemistry. I was the first person from South Newton to go to the State Finals of Project
XL in the original music category my junior year. I participated in the school play once, but then didn't have time to after that for other reasons. I had a lot of good times at SN and hope to continue that
tradition at Wesleyan next year.
